Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided in the parish room (adjacent to the Church) after 11am Mass every Sunday. Duties include making tea and coffee for up to 30 people and washing up. On summer mornings tea is taken al fresco in the garden or in front of the Church. This provides a wonderful opportunity for people to socialise and for new parishioners to meet people.
We do not charge for refreshments but invite small voluntary donations for the Brentwood Catholic Children's Society.
If you are new to the Parish, assisting with refreshments is a great way to meet people and make new friends. Please let Jan Myers know if you would like to join the team of helpers or if you are interested in taking over the co-ordination role (via a whatsApp group) which is currently vacant. There is a small team of volunteers that currently provides this valuable ministry of hospitality on behalf of the parish.
